3 Smartphone Baru Dari HTC: Incredible S, Desire S dan Wildfire S

HTC (High Tech Computer Corporation) bisa dibilang sebagai salah satu pabrikan ponsel pintar yang sangat subur. Banyak produknya bermunculan di pasar global, yang mayoritas digandeng oleh operator-operator besar seperti AT&T, T-Mobile dan lainnya. Kini, HTC kembali memperkenalkan tiga model terbaru yang diberi kode Incredible S, Desire S dan Wildfire S.


Dari segi nama memang mirip dengan smartphone pendahulunya. Hanya saja, untuk tiga seri anyar ini diberi prefik “S”, untuk sekadar penanda sebagai tipe baru. Sayang, tampaknya ketiga ponsel ini pun tak dijejali dengan kemampuan full. Padahal, seperti diketahui teknologi HTC sudah mencapai level yang ‘canggih’.

HTC Incredible S
Adalah Incredible S, yang awalnya dirumorkan sebagai Desire HD2. Bentukkannya mirip dengan Droid Incredible. Dan, tampilannya pun mudah dikenali ala Incredible khas HTC. Incredible S mengusung layar 4 inci pada resolusi WVGA, dengan teknologi Super LCD, yang pertama kali dipakai HTC.

HTC Incredible S pun memiliki fitur unik, dimana ikon-ikon menunya tampil berputar di layar kapasitifnya. Sayang smartphone ini tak dilengkapi Bluetooth 3.0 atau pun port HDMI. Yang ada sebatas Bluetooth 2.1, WiFi b/g/n dan DLNA. Untuk sistem operasi, smartphone ini mengusung Android 2.2 Froyo dengan HTC Sense. Prosesornya Qualcomm 1 GHz, dengan RAM 768MB.

Kamera utamanya kelas 8 MP autofokus, dengan dukungan lampu flash dan kemampuan rekam video 720p, belum full HD. Kamera sekunder 1,3 MP dipasang di sisi muka ponsel.

Incredible S bakal dilego sekitar 520 Euro (Rp 6,4 juta-an), yang kemungkinan mulai dipasarkan di wilayah Eropa.

HTC Desire S
Bodinya alumunium, yang terlihat solid dan kokoh serupa tipe HTC Legend. Layarnya 3,7 inci beresolusi WVGA, dengan chipset prosesor core-solo Qualcomm 1 GHz, dan RAM 768 MB plus grafis Adreno. Sistem operasi HTC Desire S yakni Android 2.3 Gingerbread.

Kamera Desire S memiliki resolusi 5 MP, dengan kemampuan video record 720p. Pada sisi muka terdapat kamera sekunder VGA. Dibandingkan dengan seniornya HTC Desire, model Desire S ini tampaknya sedikit lebih mungil. Koneksi WiFi 802.11n sudah dilekatkan padanya, dan kecepatan transfer jalur HSDPA-nya sudah 14,4 Mbps downlik serta 5,76 uplink.

Desire S bakal mulai dilepas ke pasaran pada April 2011, dengan banderol sekitar 500 Euro atau Rp 6,1 juta-an.

HTC Wildfire S
Ponsel ini berjalan dengan Android Sensed, yang kemungkinan versi 2.3 Gingerbread. CPU-nya berkecepatan 600 MHz, dengan RAM 512 MB. Wildfire S menancapkan kamera 5 MP, yang dilengkapi flash LED dan slot microSD card.

Menariknya, dibandingkan dengan dua saudaranya diatas, HTC Wildfire S memiliki dukungan Bluetooth 3.0 dan NFC (Near Field Communication). Termasuk pula Wi-Fi b/g/n.
HTC Wildfire S diharapkan mulai beredar di pasaran global mulai triwulan kedua 2011.
