Dipersenjatai sebuah layar selebar 4.3 inci serta sistem operasi Android Gingerbread, Sony Walkman Z akan hadir di pasar Jepang pada 10 Desember mendatang. Sony Walkman Z tersedia dalam 3 varian kapasitas memori berbeda, 16GB, 32GB and 64GB yang masing-masing dibanderol dengan harga ¥28,000 ($360), ¥33,000($430), and ¥43,000($560).
Dengan harga sekian, kita akan disuguhi fitur-fitur menarik seperti kelengkapan sistem koneksi termasuk DLNA, Micro-HDMI, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, dan FM radio. CPU Tegra 2 serta RAM sebesar 512 MB juga telah tertanam di dalamnya yang menjanjikan aktifitas multitasking berjalan dengan sempurna.
Sayangnya, Sony tidak mengungkapkan rencananya untuk memasarkan PMP canggih satu ini keluar pasar Jepang.
